Obverse:   Full length facing-standing figures of the emperor, beard and moustache, with low stemma decorated with prependoulia, wearing large maniakon, large loros and divitision, with a "lattice decoration" and a pellet in each separate cell of it. Saint Demetrius is with nimbus, dressed in chain-armour, tunic and sagion, standing on suppendion and is giving sword with his left hand and crowning the emperor with his right hand.
Reverse: Christ Chalkitus in full length with large cross nimbus, wearing tunic and kolobion, stepped on suppendion, blessing with His right and holding Gospel with His left hand.
